I went for Timeline Beta the very first day. Seriously wanted to try it out. I remember Facebook bringing out changes very often few weeks before F8. Maybe to set the mood to accept change.I was very excited once i activated it. I was looking for a cover photo and i think i found the best one. A group pic with my buddies. It just fits right in place, perfect. Very soon i realized my Timeline is very much empty. There's nothing in my history. For fun sake i uploaded my baby pic

Timeline loads a little slow. But its ok for me as i don't visit my Timeline very often. I visit only to clean it up. Yes, all that junk which has accumulated from those stupids apps. Very frequently, i get tagged in some pics generated by Apps that my friend runs. I couldn't figure out a way to avoid that. I dont like being tagged in those crazy pics which appear on my Timeline. They are the first thing that anyone would notice when they visit my profile. Bright colorful and ugly. Timeline is what i want to show my visitors so i need total publishing right on that space. I dont want to see some third party apps post on my Timeline.
Timeline suits best for businesses. I would love to see the history of outlets i like. Its just cool. Its much better than those static pages their websites have. And with the subscribe feature, they need not 'friend' their customers. Which solves the major problem of third party apps posting on their Timeline. They can put up their updates for public view with commenting enabled hence directly interacting with their customers. Its the best.
Facebook should not allow third party apps to post on my Timeline. Those adds which appear on the side, well i dont have a problem with them now as i have installed Adblock. It works great. Yeah btw, it looks crap when you have adds on your Timeline page.
