It is amazing the rate at which Android market is growing. Google published a post recently showing the growth stats of this market. It says the growth rate is as high as 1 billion downloads per month. Now that's a huge number.
For those who have not yet tasted the Android experience, Android Market is an online store developed by Google for Android OS devices. Its gate way is an app 'Market' pre installed in many Android phones.Android market has a hell lot of apps developed by third party developers. Some of these apps have to be paid for whereas some are free. This market is a great platform for developers to monetize their skill.
This platform was released in October 2008 and since then it has shown a tremendous growth. Heres the stats obtained from Google official blog.
When i ve got nothing to do i am up in the android market looking for new Apps. I think i like android apps maily because, there are easy to use, cheap and they never let you get bored of your device.
